Green Smoothie
Yield 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup Milk or milk alternative
- 1/4 cup Coconut milk
- 1 cup Spinach or kale
- half Avocado
- 1 cup Cucumber with skin
- 2-3 large Ice cubes
- 2 Pasture-raised egg yolks
- 1 tsp Or: Grass-fed Gelatin
- 1/2 cup Berries
- 4 pitted Or: Dates
- Optional add-ins: 1 tsp bee pollen, 1 tbsp chia seeds
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend on high for 1-2 minutes.
- Enjoy!
- Note: Smoothies in the first few weeks postpartum should be served at room temperature to promote healing. Substitute the Ice for 1 cup of Filtered Water.
