Instructions

  1. Lightly toast a crusty sourdough bread.
  2. Lay a good melty cheese immediately on top of the toast or alternatively warm the bread in the oven with the cheese already on it.
  3. Slice or spread a well-roasted sweet potato or squash.
  4. Top with sliced roasted beets, sliced apple, a fried egg, sautéed dark leafy greens, and/or fresh greens.
