Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Coconut flour
- 1.5 cups Cashews
- 1/4 cup Flaxseed, ground
- 1/4 cup Almond flour
- 1/4 cup Coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp Brewer's yeast
- 1/2 cup Ghee or coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1/4 tsp Ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp Fennel powder
- pinch Black pepper
- garnish Pistachios, crushed
Instructions
- Lightly toast the coconut flour in a saucepan over medium heat, for 1-2 minutes.
- Grind the cashews in a food processor until it turns into creamy butter. Alternatively, use 1 cup of cashew butter.
- Add cashew butter and all remaining ingredients into the saucepan.
- Reduce heat to low and mix well.
- Turn off the heat.
- Line a small baking dish, about 8x8, or a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Pour the batter into the dish, and spread smoothly.
- Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top.
- Put in the fridge to solidify, about 1 hour.
- Cut into squares and store in the refrigerator or freezer in an airtight container.
- Enjoy a square or two daily to support healthy lactation.
