Marshmallows
These marshmallows taste like the real thing without all the extra additives. They are super simple to make and are a fun treat to make with kids. Add them to your Bone Broth Hot Chocolate!

Homemade Marshmallows

- 3 Tbsp grass-fed gelatin
- 1 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 Tbsp arrowroot powder
Instructions
- In a kitchen mixer with whisk attachment, place the gelatin with 1/2 of the water.
- Let it bloom for 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, heat to boiling the other half of the water with the honey for 15 minutes.
- With the kitchen mixer on low speed, add the honey mixture to the gelatin.
- Add the vanilla.
- Line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper and sprinkle with 1 Tbsp of arrowroot powder.
- Pour the marshmallow mixture onto the parchment paper and let cool for 5-6 hours at room temperature.
- Sprinkle and gently spread another 1 Tbsp of arrowroot powder over the top.
- Cut into squares and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
