Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are most beneficial during the first 6 months postpartum. They make great 1 handed breakfasts and snacks to keep on hand. Oats are galactagogues that help to support + increase lactation. Soaking grains overnight or for a minimum of 8 hours helps to release the phytic acid which increases absorption of nutrients and makes them easier to digest. You'll want to eat these within 3 days which will be easy! They are excellent breakfasts + snacks for the whole family.

Ingredients
- Rolled oats (3/4 cup)
- Cinnamon (dash)
- Milk or alternative (3/4 cup)
- Coconut cream (2 tbsp)
- Maple Syrup (1 tbsp)
- Optional toppings: nut butter, berries, hemp seeds, banana
Instructions
- In a pint mason jar, pour in the oats and mix in the cinnamon.
- Pour in the milk and coconut cream. Stir well.
- Stir in the maple syrup.
- Let sit for 5 minutes and then stir again gently.
- Store in the refrigerator overnight so the oats have time to soak and sprout for optimal digestion.
- Top with berries, nut butter, and/or hemp seeds.
