Sauteed Green Beans with Bacon, Cranberry, Almonds + Goat Cheese

Sauteed Green Beans with Bacon, Cranberry, Almonds + Goat Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Green beans
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 1 cup Cranberries, fresh
  • 4 ounces Goat cheese, crumbled
  • ¼ cup Slivered Almonds
  • Sea Salt + Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash + trim the green beans.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy.
  3. Set the bacon aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
  4. Add the green beans to the hot pan, sautéing for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Cover + let steam another 5 minutes.
  6. Add the cranberries + sauté 2 more minutes just until the cranberries are about to burst.
  7. Season with a high quality sea salt + black pepper.
  8. Place the green beans in a serving bowl.
  9. Top with crumbled goat cheese, almonds + bacon.
