Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cup Coconut sugar
  • 3/4 cup Softened butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup Sourdough discard
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix dry ingredients (except powdered sugar).
  3. In another bowl, mix butter and sugar.
  4. Add in discard and eggs.
  5. Stir into dry ingredients.
  6. Roll into 1.5” balls and dip top in powdered sugar.
  7. Place on baking sheet sugared side up.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until they’ve “cracked”!
  9. Allow to cool before enjoying.
