Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 cup Sourdough starter
  • 1.5 cups Milk or alternative
  • 2 whole Eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder + soda, and salt.
  2. Add the Sourdough starter, maple syrup, milk, and egg.
  3. Mix well until just combined.
  4. Melt the butter in a hot pan.
  5. Add the butter to the mixture and mix in well.
  6. Use the leftover grease for your first pancake.
  7. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the hot pan cooking for 1-2 minutes on each side.
