Autumn Spice
Keep this Ayurvedic spice mix on hand to mirror the Autumn season with warming spices for your foods.
Autumn Spice

Ingredients
- (3 Tbsp) Coriander, seed, or ground
- (3 Tbsp) Cumin seed, or ground
- (6 tsp) Fennel, seed, or ground
- (3 Tbsp) Turmeric Powder
- (6 tsp) Ginger Powder
Instructions
- If using whole spice seeds, toast the seeds in a pan on med-low heat for a few minutes, gently stirring until aromatic.
- Transfer the seeds to a bowl and allow them to cool completely.
- Grind the seeds in a spice or coffee grinder or mortar & pestle.
- Pour back into a bowl or 8-ounce mason jar.
- Stir in the powders.
- If not using whole seeds, you only need to add all the powders together and simply add to a mason jar, cap, and shake until mixed.
- Store in a mason jar or spice jar.
- Use throughout Autumn on vegetables, meats, stews, or anything savory.
