Ingredients

  • (3 Tbsp) Coriander, seed, or ground
  • (3 Tbsp) Cumin seed, or ground
  • (6 tsp) Fennel, seed, or ground
  • (3 Tbsp) Turmeric Powder
  • (6 tsp) Ginger Powder

Instructions

  1. If using whole spice seeds, toast the seeds in a pan on med-low heat for a few minutes, gently stirring until aromatic.
  2. Transfer the seeds to a bowl and allow them to cool completely.
  3. Grind the seeds in a spice or coffee grinder or mortar & pestle.
  4. Pour back into a bowl or 8-ounce mason jar.
  5. Stir in the powders.
  6. If not using whole seeds, you only need to add all the powders together and simply add to a mason jar, cap, and shake until mixed.
  7. Store in a mason jar or spice jar.
  8. Use throughout Autumn on vegetables, meats, stews, or anything savory.
