Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Butter or Coconut Oil
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 cups Walnuts, Pecans, Cashews, or Combo, chopped
- 1 cup Dried Cherries, Apricots, Cranberries, or Raisins
- 2 cups Dates, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees + grease 8x8 baking dish with butter or coconut oil.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, syrup + 3/4 tsp of salt until smooth. Add the flour and cinnamon and whisk until smooth. Add the nuts and dried fruit and mix until evenly coated, then spread in an even layer in the pan.
- Bake until set and golden brown, about 30 minutes. Immediately sprinkle lightly with remaining salt.
- Let cool completely in the pan on a rack before cutting into squares + enjoying.
